Monthly Sankirtan Festival: Book Distribution at ISKCON Manchester – February 2026

What is the Monthly Sankirtan Festival (MSF)?

The Monthly Sankirtan Festival (MSF) is a joyful and powerful gathering of devotees, designed to unite everyone in book distribution and sankirtan service. Rather than just sending individuals out sporadically, the MSF brings together the congregation once every month for a collective, purpose-driven outreach to share Srila Prabhupada’s books, the holy name, and Krishna’s mercy with the world.

This festival is built on the simple but transformative idea that a lot of people doing a little together can create a big impact. Every devotee, beginner or experienced, contributes according to their ability — and through teamwork, spiritual enthusiasm and service activity grow exponentially.

MSF at ISKCON Manchester – February 28th

This month at ISKCON Manchester, our MSF book distribution will take place on 28th February. Devotees from the temple and congregation will gather with one heart and one aim — to spread the gift of transcendental knowledge through Srila Prabhupada’s books.

During MSF, devotees come together in unity and enthusiasm to:

Distribute Srila Prabhupada’s books at high-foot-traffic locations in Manchester

Perform sankirtan and harinam, bringing the holy names to everyone

Connect with the public, offering the timeless wisdom of devotional literature

Serve joyfully together as a spiritual family

The atmosphere at MSF is not merely about numbers — it’s about collaboration, devotion, and community spirit. Even those who have never distributed books before can join, feel inspired, and participate in this noble outreach.

Why MSF Matters

The Monthly Sankirtan Festival is more than a scheduled temple event. It is a living expression of Lord Caitanya’s sankirtan movement — encouraging devotees to step out together, chant the holy names, and bring Srila Prabhupada’s books to society. Each month, as we gather and serve, we not only distribute books — we share the mercy of Krishna with every soul we meet.

As more devotees join in, MSF becomes not just an event but a spiritual journey of personal growth, teamwork, and expanded service. Together, we expand our capacities for service and strengthen our connection with Lord Krishna through practical outreach.

Join Us on 28th February!

To all our devotees and friends — come and be part of this holy service. Whether you are an experienced distributor or are joining for the first time, there is a place for you in this collective devotional effort.

Let’s gather in sankirtan spirit, serve with joy, and take Srila Prabhupada’s books into the hearts of people throughout Manchester.
